Cydia Gets A New Feature – “Theme Center” [Jailbreak only]

Jay Freeman (a.k.a. “saurik”) has added a new feature to Cydia, the jailbreak application store. The addition, “Cydia Theme Center,” allows users to easily search for Retina and non-Retina themes.

Currently, the list of themes present includes only popular Cydia themes, and MacCiti and ModMyi staff picks. However, jailbreak fans will soon be able to vote their favorite themes into Theme Center, which will be handy.
This is the second Cydia feature to take advantage of Freeman’s “whole package index.” The first allows users to easily check on installed packages.
According to Freeman, this new feature has proved to be pretty popular. Following the release of Theme Center, the Cydia mastermind posted to Twitter:
The second feature to use my Whole Package Index, the “Cydia Theme Center”, went up an hour ago, and 15,000 people have already tried it! ;P
Have you tried Cydia Theme Center out yet? If you have, let us know your thoughts in the comments. [Via AppAdvice]
